Does the $10k figure trigger a sell-off?

I'd guess that a lot of people will pull some profit out at 10k. I think there will be some resistance there.

Not sure that I see much Bear sentiment. $9300 now, up 14% in L7 days.

Are we witnessing effect of Halvening? Or is this set up for the Whale Sell/buy at $10k?

yeah I got struck by FOMO today and bought in at $9800. Think I'm just going to sit back with what I have now and wait though. breaking 10k again would be pretty awesome, looks like it might very soon. Then let's see if it hangs on. I bet a lot of resistance at 10k, huge sellers wall on coinbase pro at 10k.

I feel like the key (and I’m just a beginner with this so take my thought with a grain of salt) is once it hits 9500 or 10,000 that it hovers around there in to the next day. Is that a key indicator the sky is the limit?

It did break $10k for a few moments then fell back down. I'm assuming a lot of people took their profit.

This is the freest money you'll ever see. Most of the time you're just speculating. There's no "speculation" that btc will get back to 10k and beyond. Just pay attention to history, jesus. Just trying to help, I'll be back to laugh at the doomsayers who couldn't see a good investment if it bit them in the ass

Rocking and rolling. I still see one final pullback with the overbought market (bear rally) so we should see one last chance at BTC levels around 7k; gold and BTC haven't quite decoupled from the equity markets just yet. My tip to people is to make sure you have a firm, long position by the end of the year. And just hold for a longer time frame. Next year we will see a 20k valuation.

I was feeling the same way. Seems like there's a very noticeable (psychological?) effect around the 10k price, it's a bit interesting since I can't recall something so volatile hovering so firmly around a number for so long

1-2% of liquid assets in Bitcoin seems reasonable. That's where I'm at. The same with bullion. Might increase if the pandemic circles back, viciously. Not expecting that though.
