How does one go about scalping sportbooks in Vegas?
I have about a 30k bankroll devoted to sport betting, but until now have only used online books. Is there much value in using vegas as an out or would the added online pool of books in canada be better?

My primary income is poker and with the internet ban i am trying to find reasons to stay in vegas as opposed to moving to Canada. Kind of odd to live in vegas and find it is the worst place in the world to be a pro gambler (at least for me)

Thanks in advance for any help.

I know almost nothing about this subject as well as many other subjects as well.

However I lived in Vegas for about 4 years and I found a great time to do stuff like this is the 2 weeks before the Super Bowl, when the books have these booklets filled with like 25 pages of prop bets on the SB worded every which way imaginable. If you get these things from several books you will find different wording for the same props with unbelievable differences in prices. Just study them carefully and be careful what you bet but you'll make a nice quick profit on your 30k, I know I made a few bucks myself doing it.

Now I'll just step aside and let the people who REALLY understand this stuff continue, but my experience there shows it is impossible to do this at Vegas sport books under normal circumstances.

30k is too little to scalp in Vegas - you really need runners, and 30k just isn't enough capital.

30k is plenty to make a living from props and smaller markets (although 50-100k is better). 30k is also enough to get started at Blackjack in Vegas...
