Way too easy to play the what if game in this contest. Any pick you lose you pretty much always can second guess yourself after the fact "why did I pick this team, I wanted to pick this other team instead". No real point!

I used to pour over my picks a ton, but I've come to the conclusion that this contest is extremely random. Sure some people are probably better at picking than others, but given how many games switch as to which side of the spread wins based on a last minute score that does or doesn't happen, well no one can guess those correctly - just a matter of being lucky!

So don't stress yourself out about it too much. Honestly even though I've never really won anything in this contest, and probably won't this year either, it definitely makes bowl season a lot more fun - bowls that in years past that I wouldn't have cared about at all, makes it enjoyable to sweat them. Just generally adds lot of excitement to the bowl season at least for me. So look at it that way imo. And heck if you win something in the contest, that's just a bonus on top of the fun!
