Exactly - At least give him the courtesy of an invite, meals, and all the other perks associated with this ceremony. Obviously Burrows has it wrapped but JT should at least be recognized... Brutal

Kid gonna be drafted in 1st round or 2. He don’t need free trip and meals. Relax

Because he doesn't show up when facing good defensive lines.

          Huh?
JT has shown up for every game the past two seasons.
4,000 rushing yards in two seasons combined says so.

i didn't post the last non-alabama tailback winner... reggie bush. i think they took it away though and maybe didn't award it to 2nd place finisher.

interestingly, 3 of the last 4 non-alabama TB winners are from san diego..... bush, rickeyW, salaam.

They lost twice to Ohio St and Illinois. I don't care what he does against Savannah School of Arts. If you can't beat good teams you don't deserve to win the Heisman.

You do realize Taylor plays with 10 other starters on offense.
                Taylor doesn’t play on defense, it’s not a 1 on 11 game.

It’s like the Brady has difficult beating Eli in playoff games argument.
Ummm Brady and Eli aren’t on the field at the same time, it’s a ridiculous debate.

Go ahead, you can have the final word.

Think it's obvious.. Wisconsin isn't in the playoff and he isn't as well known a name as the other guys. And he's a RB

i saw 3 post-season all-american teams and JT only made one first team even though there were 2 tb's on each first team.

dobbins (name/sp?) at ohio state and hubbard at ok state beat him... might have been a 3rd name i.e. hubbard only on one first team.. but OHS TB ahead of JT.

                    was very very surprised.

the thread title is a double negative which likely means the opposite of what Nasher here is trying to convey

He just won the Doak Walker Award again which goes to the nation's top RB. He beat out Dobbins and Hubbard. That makes back to back wins - Enough said! As good as you can do for an RB with the Heisman dominated by QBs.

Complaining about Taylor when Trevor Lawrence is the one getting slighted, just like Deshaun Watson in 2015 and 2016?

I think Laurence is the best player without question but does he really have the resume this year? His team so talented and he didn’t have to do a ton in many games. I think he the best nfl qb in college tho.

you and I could put up big numbers vs UVA , UNC, Wake Forest, NC State , Duke , Georgia Tech etc
