Where did the energy from the "big bang" come from? How is mass created in the absence of space. Evolution is far from the final verdict.

I never said that I was defending the theory of evolution in its entirety. Obviously it's a work in progress just as are many other conundrums that science attempts to explain for us. The theoretical Higgs boson would be the next step in our understanding of the quantum dynamics of the Big Bang.

My original question was how are dinosaur fossils explained if the Earth is only 12,000 years old, most of which falling under the auspices of recorded human history. Shouldn't at least an oral tradition of dinosaur encounters be referenced in some of our earliest historical documents?
