I can't say I read much of what he posted. I don't say that in an I-can't-stand-him kind of way; he just never really got on the radar.

He seemed to post a lot though. If he has substituted flesh-and-blood interaction for sitting at a computer, I am very happy for him.

I bet 94% of the posters here never heard of slicker.. it's crazy to think like this, but it's true.. i have never in my life seen a poster with 13,000 posts and still, no one knows who he is..

the reason why is that slicker posts 2 words posts all the time and is very quiet and never gets into any argument with anyone, agrees with everything jj says.. he is not controversial. it's hard to notice him in any thread cause he's so quiet.. He's laid back all the time and is a nice guy.. He even made vids and people still don't know him..

Lets just pray he's not dead..

It's more complicated than this. Slicker knew someone at the gym Lesnar was training that overheard some guys on steroids say that Silva was a lock. Then he also asked Bread's opinion. Then he put 2 and 2 together and armed with this "insider" expert information emptied all his accounts on Silva or going ALL IN as we call it here.

He did this on the most unpredictable sport where everything is allowed and a wrong punch can knock you out or kill you and if noone dies or gets knocked out the outcome of the fight is determined by judges voting.

Secondly it seems to irk posters when a fellow poster leaves if it is a girl involved or not. I guess the thinking is "he got out and is happy"

I didn't even know he played Silva til after the fact. As I was crying that evening about my huge loss, Slicker revealed that he also went heavy on him. Not sure if my write-up helped influence his decision on that, but I hope not! I think my posted plays went 4-1 or 3-2 on that one, but Silva was my big'un
