Under made way more sense to me than side and history supports it pretty well w saban off a loss. Mid high 30s to 10-14ish seems right to me here. I know it nose diving but I still think there room at 60ish. Maybe I’m off base but 56-58 felt like high side to me. If it closer I think it cause bama doesn’t score as much.

You judging them as the team they were early on I always talked bad about and never bet. I’m taking bout the team they been since the 6 ot win over unc. Gotta be willing to understand some teams get better as season goes. Think they a pretty good example of that and we been getting some nice value w them recently cause they were bad early.

Question is does this line represent their true worth after few strong performances? I’m not real hip on what they give Gtech for home, assuming 2.5 which makes it 8 on neutral, 11-12 at Blacksburg maybe? Jackets just got 16-17 at uva which we played jackets but I’d argue Hokies very close to uva right now at this moment, don’t you think? If that the case I think Hokies May still have some value.

Like I said I doubt it real pretty but Hokies are very strong in red zone and red zone d which over course of game should give them some margin even if stats fairly equal. Not real convinced stats be equal either cause Hokies run d has overall been pretty good and games jackets struggle to rush w success their offense struggles to score.

I feel pretty good saying Vtech by at least 7 and I think that if they play poorly. They continue at current trajectory I think we talking mid/high 20s and don’t think Gtech be in the low mid teens. .

Gotta have a short memory like a closer baby! I think somewhere in the 10-14 range be a nice solid performance by Hokies, jackets stayed in few games for us including last week at uva but I’m not real high on uva and don’t think they nearly the team some thought they might be coming into season. After giving their all last week in that one and coming up short maybe if Hokies jump on them they go away but like I said I doubt it a enjoyable watch or “easy”. Jackets prob be fairly close to number or a score away from covering it but Hokies having solid red zone defense (as in top 10 in county in td percentage against) makes me feel ok they won’t give that score up against a Gtech offense that 130th in country in red zone td percentage!!

Feels like a under the radar fav that not gettin lot of attention who assuming plays up to current form covers way more than not on a number that prob hasn’t quite caught up to how they playing. ;considering we had to lay over the td with Pitt a few weeks back).,

My only concern is it dangerous to back a team who been so abysmal as vandy most the year, can we count on effort? I have no real feel for horns. I do typically like Herman as a dog but this year been strange having so many defensive injuries, heard they got guys back last week but I have no idea how much better that makes them at this point?

I think isu better than their record but they also havnt been a team I’ve felt good about pegging down week to week. Have had them right a few times on once and against but think it was more me being right on the other team and matchup which in this case I havnt the slightest what this game looks like.

I’m not concerned because Oklahoma’s defense is trash most weeks & Baylor’s defense can be quite good certain weeks, so I like that as a combination for a beneficial outcome with taking the points here.

What’s the plays

So far I have 4 played:

Wyoming which I posted at +6.5 but 5.5 or whatever you get fine, I think they win outright.

Bama/msu under 61

Vatech -6.5

Navy +7.5.., This one not my fav cause I feel like we should prob be getting dd’s but same time I really like navy chances so while I doubt I can make a case there any real value I still think it cashes. I also think the ml might be better than spread in a way.

Still debating vandy, would like to talk to some my brain trust round here if they would get their lazy asses up before I take the plunge on this one and see if I’m missing something or can be talked out of?!

Still could play ville and/or Indiana but not sure yet. Prob another total god willing at some point! Lol

I can proudly say I was all bout bears defense defense earlier than most, their offense has really started worrying me tho and against teams who have defenses every bit as suspect as Sooners. Baylor got some dudes up front on d but still don’t think that translates into keeping sooners from getting at least high 20s/low 30s. In a perfect world bears will chew up clock w the run game which I think they can but they have to finish drives or they be in trouble which they havnt done much lately.

I do think it has a lot the same feel as gophers gm last week but Sooners bring more capable offense, I dunno if a sooner multi score victory likely but I can see it more than I’d prefer if that makes sense?

I mentioned last week I thought isu was prob a scarier game for Oklahoma than this one even tho I’ve liked Baylor considerably more than them all year, I was just more confident in purdy ability to keep up.

Certainly don’t wanna talk anyone off Baylor, I’ll be rooting for them just don’t think they make my card. Hopefully I’ll regret passing and feel dumb for this afterwords!!!

Michigan -13.5

I think Michigan State is done. They've had a really tough stretch of games and basically nothing to show for it after last week's humiliating defeat to Illinois. Yeah they're still fighting for a bowl game and this is a rivalry but Michigan off the bye and their offense shown lots of improvements over the last month. I don't think Harbaugh is overly fond of D'antonio and will look to run it up.


Missouri ML +200

A little speculative but Kelly Bryant expected back. Missouri defense still very good and home field advantage is stronger than average. Trask will have to prove he can play well on the road. I did make this bet earlier in the week when it looked like it was going to be really cold weather and I thought that'd be an advantage against a team more used to warmer weather. But it looks like it's only supposed to be 40-50 degrees so probably no advantage but I already bet it anyway

Louisiana-Monroe ML +200

Monroe beat Georgia Southern pretty badly last year, looks like handling the option isn't too big of a deal for them. Monroe good passing attack and GS can not cover from what I can tell. They really lucked out against App State with really windy conditions.


Iowa St/Texas under 65.5

Texas healthier, getting lots of players back on defense. Maybe a bit of a letdown for Iowa State after tough loss last week.


Colorado St +10 and 1st half +6

Colorado State playing really well, won 3 in a row. They dismissed their running back 3 weeks ago but haven't missed a step in the running game. They have a NFL calibre receiver that's going to cause problems against Air Force undersized corners. Colorado St also off a bye, extra time to prepare for option. Air Force didn't play last week but it was unexpected because their game was cancelled. Air Force best pass rusher also sitting out 1st half.


Leaning towards Utah -21

Big number but maybe a sell high time for UCLA. Utah one of the most physical teams and I think they're gonna stop the UCLA rushing attack. UCLA QB still not someone I have lot of confidence in, very error prone and will be in hostile environment. UCLA is also a really young team, not very experienced. I think altitude will wear on them as game wears on.

Syracuse fired their DC during bye week. I think defense naturally shows better effort with interim guy. OL is still a disaster and their offense is stagnant because of it. Also should be some bad weather.

Totally agree w big blue just am not good trying to lay dd in this conf. Every time I lay points in these big 10 games a total shitfest breaks out.

For most part Everyone I respect playing the fla/mizzou game agrees w you or under which I think could be a solid play. I just don’t trust this mizzou team, I feel like their pass d stats are largely overblown due to playing a whole gang of teams/QBs that pretty bad or avg at the very best throwing the ball so I’m not sure how good they really are? I don’t think they the elite unit the numbers say.

I don’t trust Bryant hammy to be well enough he can run around which concerns me.

I have less feel for this tigers team than lot of prior years as they just been hugely disappointing and never interesting enough I paid much attention! Lol. Well from what I can tell, Derrick Mason could be on the way out. I thought his players had quit on him but then they came out and beat Missouri. Then next week, I guess they played hard but just didn't have any offense after 1st drive of the game. Hard to gauge much from Florida beatdown because I don't think it mattered one way or another.

They do get their 1st choice QB back for this game. Riley Neal. But it's hard to say if that even means anything? All their QBs have been a disaster. I don't really have much of a read on this game because I've hardly followed Kentucky at all this year. I know Terry Wilson had a season ending injury and I just don't know anything about them after that.

Is Kentucky's defense any good? Specifically run defense because that's what Vandy is going to have to rely on. 10 points at home is attractive but Vandy passing attack just doesn't have a pulse. I don't think it even matters they're at home. I think Mason might be a fiery guy and can motivate somewhat but beyond that, doesn't seem like he prepares too well or does well in game
