#72Removing opinion, and just looking at his actions, one can surmise he doesn’t want to play.
*he opted out of his Niner contract
*his girlfriend compared the Ravens owner to a slave owner and Ray Lewis to Uncle Tom while the Ravens were considering offering a contract
*he wore a Fidel Castro shirt to his Dolphins interview
*he wouldn’t commit to not kneeling if the Seahawks signed him
*he wouldn’t take a pay cut to sign with the Broncos
*he moved the workout at the last moment and fewer teams followed to watch him
*he called out Goodell and the owners at the workout going as far as to say they’re “scared” and “running from the truth”
*he wore a Kunta Kinte shirt to the workout
Each of these things, isolated, could be rationalized. But they didn’t occur in a vacuum; nothing really does. These things viewed together indicate he doesn’t want to play. He keeps sabotaging any chance he might have to play. He apparently wants to be a victim, or an activist, or both. Stirring up the racist rhetoric is more important than playing to him. The merit of his claim and the validity of his “fight” are a different discussion. His supporters are being duped into thinking he wants to play and discrimination is prohibiting him. Discrimination may be involved, but he’s making sure he’s a victim of it.Comment -

#73What has gotten lost in all the BS between now and the beginning is that his original protest was strictly against the police. I remember him wearing the pig socks and allowing the photo of them onto social media. This was the real Shiite he pulled before. He protested something that, statistically speaking, isn't even a problem. By doing this, he made doing police work much more difficult than it already is while, at the same time, starting a media fire storm that created more divide than was already there. The timing was perfect because Obama cultivated the environment for greater divide by not speaking out against criminals and their behavior and in support of the law enforcement community. Thankfully most of America has enough common sense to see thought it all. Only the low IQ and the naively blind buy in. If I remember correctly this was all spurred on by his girlfriend who happens to be all into the racism stuff. As is typical, these type of people protest things that aren't the real problem instead of focusing on things that could actually help. But I get it, there is no money to be made and no worldly status to be gained by focusing on the real problems that could actually make a difference.Originally posted by franklee168What shit did he pull before?Comment -

#74I think he screwed himself, there were 25 nfl team reps at the original site, Kap doesnt get his way as far as the media being allowed in, then acts like a child and moves the venue to another location and only 8 of the 25 team reps go. This is beginning to look like a publicity stunt that backfired on him, LOL at wearing a Kunta Kinte shirt, IM sure thats going to impress the owners. He may very well be good enough to play but he needs to drop the oppressed attitude he is trying to project, no team wants that headache, in the end I doubt any team will sign him, JMO

#80Those teams are also terrible and going nowhere. Why would they want to sign a guy in his 30s, who hasn't played in 3 years and was injury prone or just plain not good his last 2 years?Originally posted by Goat Milk1) Kap right now, is better than Josh Rosen and Fitzpatrick. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. He has a better arm, he's more accurate, less turnover prone, he's faster. He took a team to the superbowl, and played fantastic during that run. The list goes on and on.
2) No one in Miami even goes to the fukking games. If you bring in Kapernick you are basically giving yourself free marketing in addition to his services. More national TV games, more media coverage, more hooplah around your city and your team, which as of now, and for the last 3 fukking decades, no one has given a shit about!Comment -

#82All of these reasons have nothing to do with football talent and none of the reasons or criminal. When did liking Goodell become a requirement to play in the NFL? When did not wearing a specific t-shirt become a requirement to play in the NFL? When did opting out of a contract become an opt out of the NFL forever?Originally posted by princeinexileRemoving opinion, and just looking at his actions, one can surmise he doesn’t want to play.

#83Nobody wants to sign him because nobody wants a Jerry Springer show on their team. This dude is just a distraction to the league and his team. He can play QB, but teams would rather pick someone else that plays the same or better, without all the drama.Comment -

#86What you’re saying is precisely why I said individually these things can be explained. Together, they’re the portrait of a man who doesn’t want to play, otherwise he would do the things that would make him more attractive to potential employers. Instead he continues to show he’s going to be a distraction and a pain; he doesn’t have enough talent to outweigh those things.Originally posted by NardVaAll of these reasons have nothing to do with football talent and none of the reasons or criminal.
