I think the workout is to pre empt another suit or was promised in the settlement because the NFL didn't pay him anything despite what you may have heard being speculated.

It will never be the end because if no one signs him then it will open the next can of worms all over again even though this guy is about as useful as a rear wheel drive car in a snow storm. unfortunately for Kap that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the reason(s) why nobody has signed him yet especially now since he's out of the league 3 years which means he's not going to jump in and start anywhere so basically you are bringing in a QB3 or QB2 + the circus that comes with it...ya no NFL owner with any brains going to do that

NFL declined to allow media and cameras into Colin Kaepernick’s workout as he had requested for transparency, per source. Workout now will be moved to alternative location in Atlanta this afternoon that will be open to the media and all NFL representative as allowed under rules.

Colin Kaepernick will NOT have his NFL workout at the Atlanta Falcons facility at 12 PM PT as planned ... but it will go down at a separate location.
According to Colin's reps, the NFL refused to allow media to observe the workout, which didn't jive with Kap.
Also, Kap's team claims the NFL wanted him to sign an "unusual liability waiver" which "rejected the standard liability waiver from physical injury proposed by Mr. Kaepernick's representatives."
"Based on prior conduct by the NFL league office, Mr. Kaepernick simply asks for a transparent and open process."
As a result, Kaepernick is moving the workout to a nearby high school and it will be open to the media.
"Mr. Kaepernick looks forward to seeing the representatives from the clubs today."
We're told Kap has a team of WRs to work with and plans on going through with the workout at 1 PM PT.

If he really wants to play football the XFL is just a few months away. I doubt he could make any of those teams as he hasn't played in years. You don't just lift weights and run some sprints and jump right back into pro football.

1) Kap right now, is better than Josh Rosen and Fitzpatrick. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. He has a better arm, he's more accurate, less turnover prone, he's faster. He took a team to the superbowl, and played fantastic during that run. The list goes on and on.

2) No one in Miami even goes to the fukking games. If you bring in Kapernick you are basically giving yourself free marketing in addition to his services. More national TV games, more media coverage, more hooplah around your city and your team, which as of now, and for the last 3 fukking decades, no one has given a shit about!
