article on Jerry Jones' infatuation with his billion-dollar stadium.
"I think our team will play to the level of the new stadium," said Jones. "We've spent a lot of time over the years talking about playing for the Cowboys, what it means, the visibility of the team, the interest in the team. We're the most-watched team there is in the NFL; we're the most-watched programming in all of television ... the Dallas Cowboys. That's fact."
Jones went on to describe Cowboys Stadium as "one of the most important venues in the world." The Vatican's certainly had its moments, but its sightlines leave something to be desired.

Jerry predicts his MVP -- and it's not a human

How about the Cowboys start by winning a playoff game before the decade ends.
I predict they'll play to the level of their practice facility.

I would like a beer over a picnic table with Jerry Jones.First question, why should tax payers and sales tax payers have to pay for you to have the hobbie of owning a pro team and building you a stadium? To boot he had eminent domain where alot of business owners and such on the land the stadium sits did not want to sell their property.Jerry Jones is no more than a recipient of glorified welfare. He is a burden to society. And he holds his head up high like he's some contributor.

If running an NFL team-stadium is so lucrative, why not sell shares on the open-free market instead of mooching for freebies. You might have to conduct alot of tractor pulls and hold alot of Shedaisy and whatever god awful twang groups turns the Dallas crowd on.

If shares were sold, the Jerry Jones's of the world would have to run pro sports teams like a business and not a hobbie. You might have to think that the old Cowboy Stadium was perfectly fine to play in for another 20 years and players would have to take a 30% cut in salary.

Cowboys are the dumbest fans in the NFL.

Jerry Jones is just as big a freak as Michael Jackson, just better odds that he's not a pedophile.

Cowboys play in the toughest division, wouldn't surprise me to see them finish last in their division.
