Should the Mets go after Halladay?

They're winning games without their injured players and some are coming back this month. They're about 6 games back from the wild card spot (I believe).

Throw on top of it they have the crappiest minor league system in baseball, they would more than likely be giving up nobody. (Not one guy has panned out in that Santana trade.)

Also considering no one else is bidding, why not??

There not going anywhere, so no it would be a waste of money.

The wildcard won't be from the NL East. The Mets/Marlins/Braves are basically beating each other without gaining any ground.
