I am starting to get that funny felling in my stomach .
Call it nerves !
Here is why...when it comes to Football and College Basketball gambling,I am like a Rocky Stallone preparing for a fight !
There will be no BS when Football comes, and SBR will probably be seeing much less of me [too busy].
I want to Win and I will not take any prisoners !
And ,if I should lose money after this Football season ,I will have serious doubts in my ability to ever win again at Sports Gambling ?
It's just too tough !
Now that I am retired I will have more quality time to do battle ,and that's exactly what it is ,a BATTLE !
I am an old veteran of the Las Vegas gambling scene of the 80's .
In 1984 and 1985 ,Sport Gambling in LV was like an over ripened fruit tree, juicy fruit just dangling from the vines ,impatiently waiting for some numbers hustler to pluck those cherry's right off the vine ![before some other hustler beat you to the fruit]
One night ,for example ,betting USFL Football,I hustled Caesars and the casino right around the corner[had a Irish name ,sitting on the corner across from Caesars], now,I believe it's Bills Gambling Hall, out of 5000 in one extraordinary lucky night !
Any sharp gambler at that particular time ,could have pulled that caper off .
And I know from witnessing them, there were some Whale hustlers roaming the casinos, probably betting 20/30 times the amount I was at that time.
The HOT numbers were there !
Now you have state of the art digital computers beating you to the punch .
If only I had know those fabulous years were not to last,I would have been a more profitable and cautious Gambler .However ,I wasn't built that way in the 80's.
I wanted to BREAK Las Vegas !Let it ride, caus',if I don't win today ,I'll most likely win double tomorrow !
Any "sharp" Gambler who played Vegas Sportbooks at that time ,knows exactly what I am talking about .
So now I am preparing soon ,for an assault on the "concrete hard" 2009 Bookmakers again, only difference is, I am the BIG UNDERDOG !
Can I pull it off, meaning beat these brass-knuckled Bookmakers of today ?
It's going to be a major undertaking, and sometimes excruciating hard work !
Bottom line question is : with all of the time and sweaty hard work ,even if you win ,is it worth it ?
I hope to give SBR and it's members a progress report by early October ?
If you hear nothing from me ,then it's probably typical "bad news" from an old gambler..and nothing worth talking about.
