I've used SBRlines for a long time and it's kept me ahead of line moves on many occasions. Have never had a pay line service even when wagering some big dollars - I feel it just cuts into the profits.

True. But how about line changes, at say, TheGreek or Pinnacle?

You are correct most sportsbooks only have 1 feed which in most cases is delayed 1-5mins. For the majority of the market setting sportsbook my company doesn't use the feed provided by the sportsbook. Live odds data is essential to our automated betting systems.

My service is designed to help individual sports bettors not the sportsbooks. We not only provide real-time odds and betting percentage data from 7 sportsbooks, but more importantly we take our members by the hand and show them which teams to play. We utilize our massive database of betting percentage data and line moves to determine the optimal formula for betting against the public. We’re written countless articles detailing our research and results. We use these formulas as the bases of our automated Betting Systems. Our member can choose to receive email, text, or popup alerts when a profitable play is triggered, or better yet when a betting line moves against the betting percentages. Lastly our membership rate is structured with the individual sports better in mind. We only charge $79/month for real-time data which competes directly with Sbrlines, and $169/month for real-time data plus betting system picks which really doesn’t compete with any live odds provider. Our company is run like a hedge fund not a live odds provider. ..this is the a major difference between us and Sbrline and any pay service.
Again, it comes down to why you’re using an odds server. If it’s just to show all the lines in one place, and get a good sampling of what odds are available, then any free service will be work. If it’s to monitor steam, see real-time betting activity, and know instantly when a profitable play was triggered then a free service will do you no good. Our service just doesn't display odds we show which lines offer value and which don't.

Matchbook's feed (the one they provide) is delayed 30sec. So SBR Matchbook updates are delayed 30secs.

It's been unusable lately. Most feeds seem to be delayed by over a minute.

Does that have anything to do with college football underway? I was using SBROdds last year to get the best numbers on Canadian Football and it was pretty good for awhile. Then college football started and with having to track all those games the service crawled to a near stand-still. Just like you describe, if the number moved within a minute of the actual change that was very good. That was pretty much when I gave up on the service and went in another direction.
