I have been to 4 different World Series, 2 Final Fours, 4 MLB All Star Games, 15 UFC fights.... many different Soccer matches... this was one of the most intense crowds and games I have been to in any sport... I traveled 2 days just to get to this game.. most exciting game I have ever attended to this day... What a feeling it was!!

I'm a huge soccer fan, but I think the typical US sports fan's approach to a game is much more mature than that shown by soccer fans. Pride in ultras is misplaced. If you're that passionate about mere sports, you lack perspective on life.
