are the % diff for the high $ vs the lower grits? My buddy legit only plays the high $ ones claiming the low are slow bleed....what abouttop $ and pinball they are all over and not exactly impressive looking machines...

The higher denom machines are typically set at a lower hold % program than their lower denom versions. The old style igt barcrests like pinball and top$ are decent payback to the player but if it is a multi-denom version the lowest 2 denoms will have a 1.5-3% higher hold than the top 2-3 denoms. The old barcrests are still really popular but tough to keep on floor with igt no longer manufacturing the parts needed to keep them going.

We live near Vegas and don't go anywhere close to the strip unless it's to go to a concert. Stations Casinos, mentioned earlier is good. As are Red Rock, Silverton, South Point, etc. We'll go to Fremont Street occasionally to hit one of the steakhouses they have there.
