I'm not usually one to complain about the weather. I am generally more bothered by people complaining about the weather than the weather itself.

But what the fukk kind of summer is this?

I'm not even much of a beach-goer so the fact we aren't getting the usual complement of blazing hot sunny days doesn't bother me too much.

Let me put it this way. If you ever have a specific need for some rain, just send me a quick message. All I have to do is take my bike outside and start riding and we are guaranteed a nice healthy shower.

It's been a crappy, cold and wet mess here too... worst month of July I can remember in my lifetime.

The lack of humidity and heat doesn't bother me, the rain is getting annoying though.

I'm starting to wonder if the so called "experts" may have over-hyped the global warming predictions.

I also wonder if they really did put a man on the moon, everything is a conspiracy mudder, everything!

I'm starting to not believe we have universal health-care in Canada.

I know right? It's been just horrible!

Oh wait...I forgot I'm only a filthy Canadian at heart. Sorry.

Its been pretty awful. Normally I don't like it too hot, but a couple of sunny days around 25 would be nice.

The worst has been the weekends. Unlike Mudder I am a fan of the beach and it's been two weekends in a row that beach plans along Huron have been ruined by shitty weather. I'm going back again this weekend and if we don't get atleast one good beach day either Saturday, Sunday, or Monay I'll be pretty pissed.

            Well I guess if you're a landlord, you're saving big-time on the A/C bills.

I am not a landlord. I'm saving nothing due to the lousy weather.

I am saving on my health-care though.

Lousy in the Ottawa area. Most rainfall in the month of July since '92.

Not a fan of scorching heat waves, so not complaining about lack of excessive heat...

One thing I learned from this thread is Canada has beaches. I did not know this before.

Yeah, while I understand people feeling cheated on the heat and sun, it doesn't bother me personally all that much.

But I tell you, it has been uncanny how often I go riding my bike and I start feeling those first sprinkles just when I am a bit too far to turn back.

Pavy - the beaches in the Canadian Arctic are far superior to anything you have in Georgia.

Post a picture plommer. I would love to see someone with a swimsuit in the Artic frolicking in the sun next to walruses and polar bears.

Oh look - the sun just peeked through.

If anyone wants to put a stop to that just let me know. I need to go to the grocery store for some milk and bananas.

Matty, nice try but the Americans aren't dumb, they know its just barely over freezing during the two weeks of summer in Canada and that we all have to live in tents until it gets cold enough to rebuild our igloos.

They see your post for exactly what it is, more Anti-American propaganda. Life in Canada is horrible, make sure they understand that.

Next thing you're gonna tell them is we have universal healthcare, they know its all fantasy, just like Santa Claus.

Saw the link. You have to pay $20 to go to the beach in Montreal? No wonder Nicky stays home all day.

Me at Nunavut beach last summer. Yes that is frostbite on my chest. Also it is true what they say about cold water and pecker shrinking.

I used to be an avid cyclist, able to withstand rain and 40KM/H winds.

Maybe I've turned wimpish or getting older but the bike stays put if either of those conditions exist or are in the forecast.

They say the legs are the first to go. Will have strong old legs if I have a say in the matter.
How "many" legs are you talking about ?

                                                Good point!

That third leg is known to go before the other two.

But I tell you, it has been uncanny how often I go riding my bike and I start feeling those first sprinkles just when I am a bit too far to turn back.

I used to be an avid cyclist, able to withstand rain and 40KM/H winds.

Maybe I've turned wimpish or getting older but the bike stays put if either of those conditions exist or are in the forecast.

Maybe we are stealing your summer here in Costa Rica, it should be raining cats and dogs, but I still haven't seen none of that. Just yesterday we had our first night storm of the year in the metropolitan area, it only rains during the day for 1 hour the most. and the rest of the day is hot and humid, and sometimes sunny for as long as 6 hours.

The weather hasn't been the same for the past 4 years, it used to rain a lot from July until the end of November :S

I'm not a big fan of the rain, but crops die easily with all this sun...

If your pecker shrinks with that broad you got problems.

I don't complain either, heat wise has been fine, the rain has been annoying as FVUCK

Was at the jays game yesterday and if you wanted to feel heat and humidity, when they closed the roof half way through you got it.

Come to vegas for the bash and you'll get your heat. I got 2 beds so crash and burn with me. I'm there for a week bro.
