Pawn Kings of Vegas on History Channel, anyone watch it?Why gamble?
Talk about a great business, running a pawn shop in Vegas. Many occupational hazards though like getting held up,buying weapons used in muders, stolen goods.etc.Anyone watch Pawn Kings on History Channel? Why would people want to be filmed on this show selling things in a desperation mode?A sort of nerdy yuppy guy last night that looked like a casino exec.was trying to sell legitimate artwork of notoriety at a pawn shop and was haggling over a few hundred dollar spread in the ask and bid.All the guy had to do would have been to place the works on E-bay anbd he would have gotten alot more$ He could have looked a few places up on Google too and would have made alot more.He stressed that he wasn't hard up for money.

Las Vegas is an absolute gold mine with the perfect storm of hardluck circumstances to cultivate crop after crop of gems from hard up people. It's almost as good as the rent a centers that end up getting 5K for a $900 high def flat screen tv.Has Magic Johnson no pride doing ads for this outfit giving his unusual Michael Vick kind of credibility for people living in the hood.I'm sure this scheister outfit derives alot of profit because of Johnson's stamp of approval.

Why gamble when there are ways like this to make money.

Anyone ever sell anything at a Vegas pawn shop?I used to get a free Vegas World prize everytime I stayed at Vegas World like a so called diamond ring or sapphire tennis bracelet and the pawn shops knew what they were and had a set price for them because so many were bought there. You were treated like the plague and you felt dirty filthy doing business in these places.Fun experience though.hehe!I used to see people in there selling the same stuff where they showed the appraised value at $799 and were getting in arguments when the pawn shop said they were worth $35.The stones on the rings and bracelets were opaque and cut by street orphans in India and I felt lucky to get $35.

I don't remember seeing this episode.

I watched both the ones that were out on Sunday night. What other items were in the one you're talking about?

      Love the show.
