Wynn seems like a hard guy to guage.Does anyone know if there is a good autobiography on the guy?One that's a tell all that sort of might have pissed him off?He seems like a complicated guy with alot good, the bad and the ugly throughout his life.Personally I think he's out of touch with going out on a limb thinking that people going to Vegas will want more upscale accomodations and amenities in an economic climate not favorable to that way of thinking.

Anyone ever try to mooch free drinks at Wynn's or Encore his other new place attached to it?I heard they are tight with free drinks to even avid players let alone drive by's.Just bought a bunch of Encore brand 2 pound boxes of frozen Sean Salisbury steaks and gravy for $2 each at the discount mart so everytime I see his high end casino I think of cheap chopped frozen mystery meat.hehe!

It showed him doing a tv ad with Sinatra when Wynn owned The Golden Nugget in the 70's in one of the suites that might be up for grabs in the SBR bash contest.

I caddied for him years ago at Shadow Creek.

I have nothing but good things to say about the guy.

Also, when I worked at the old Castaways(where the Mirage sits now), Mr. Wynn came in on the last day of operations and bought in for ONE MILLION at the BJ tables. He promptly lost close to half of that buy-in and TOKED THE REMAINDER TO ALL OF US EMPLOYEES IN THE JOINT!
