Without any doubt, US is the most powerful country in the world at the moment, it has the biggest economy, most hi tech companies, most advanced weapons, and lots of troops.

But do the americans think they are world police? And who will oversee the americans if they abuse their rights?

It depends on who you mean by Americans. There are powerful entities who intend on preserving their influence and power. This is mostly business related. That's what's meant by "American Interests".

Calling it world police is a bit misleading.

Well, the united stats is powfull and more or less has democracy at home, but I just do not know why white house do whatever it like in the rest of the world regardless of others democracy?

pretty soon everyone will have nukes and then we will all be on an even playing field, americans need to help themselves and those in poverty at home before saving thos in poverty in other countries..

Well first they will need to evolve into the 20th and then eventually the 21st centuries. You know, things like....move out of their mudhuts, stop making their women wrap themsleves in full body turbans, maybe allow their little girls to attend school...


But other than that, and possibly a few additional minor/trivial things, I'd say they are right on the precipice of world domination.
