I was all of 5-7 years old when I saw him practice this time of year on the Oneida Street Packer practice field in Green Bay.I think the Packers originated and were the inovators of off season,training camp and pre season becoming such a huge event.A couple brothers named Lindbougher or something to that affect who were ancient Packer nuts used to let people park in their lumber yard driveway to go to watch practice and they printed up daily rosters and newsletters to give away.They were the first team to ever produce bobbleheads and those started showing up for sale at this time in a concession booth those lumber yard brothers ran.Lombardi probably didn't like that.hehe!The sheets have to be collectors items but they never show up on E-bay.Supposedly during a training camp practice,Ray ran into a coaches crows nest scaffold and knocked it down.Not sure if it was an accident or a premedatated act.
