I honestly don't know how SBR would be without the engaging of posters harassing each other? It would be rather dull.
It also seems to me that a few mods don't get involved like past years.... which I believe is better. Unless it's a serious infraction/violation. For the most part... I like how the police work is being done that last 12 months or so. It doesn't need to be changed.

You said you like the policing the last year or so and it's important to understand that mods have different personalities.
Just like other police work, one officer gives you a ticket while the other offers only a warning.
But then again, how many warnings should that one officer give before deciding enough is enough?
You also have to understand if your superiors have told you that we are trying to build & grow the forum, not run new & old posters off, then an employee has to act as they aren't being paid for just overlooking everything.

Posters leave for numerous different reasons. Personally, the main reason is "money". Let's face it... if you don't know what you're doing in gambling... you go broke... why would you come to a forum? You soon realize this is a lose all situation. Hate to be blunt about it... but that's the truth. I don't think it has anything to do with harassment etc. SBR does has it's rewards if you want to wager with points and other contests. That's the good news. But let's face it... I personally had a situation where money gets tight... you sure as hell don't want to be talking about sports on a bad down swing. It's the last thing you do. So, naturally you wouldn't come to a forum.
As far as moderators... we all know Shari is extremely stern. You don't want to get caught speeding in her side of the town lol
I also understand that SBR wants to continuously grow... and yes some posters have falling off the map... but again... you can't blame harassment exclusively because of this. Gambling can become a poison at times... and you just want to get away for awhile.
I could be wrong... but in years past... I felt there were more infractions given out... and posters didn't deserve them. Possibly being too harsh? Too much police work?
Again... I just feel all the mods do a great job in letting posters speak their mind. I understand posters have gotten away with a lot said during the last 12 months or so. Perhaps a new letter of the law needs to be written out? But, I personally believe nothing needs to change. If you have posters that are on the list... then 1 final warning needs to be given.
