i hope you have the new 5.0 and if you want to add me I attached my barcode scan.
See us blackberry users have a unique PIN assigned to our device and now to add a contact to the blackberry to blackberry only IM service blackberry messenger we have a barcode image. You scan it with your berry and it adds them.
in BBM just goto ADD CONTACT and select "scan invitation barcode from another BlackBerry"
iphone can not sniff this kind of technology.
if you need BBM 5.0 which isnt official but was leaked, its very stable and worth the upgrade.
Here are OTA download links. make sure you are choosing the link matching your device and OS. not all devices have download links, so if you got some old clunker youre out
