The guy is a religious moron. His level of intelligence reminds me of Palin and Obama.
Could be looking at a future president of the United States? President Warner?

Huh, I actually agree with JJ.
I am not a fan of religious people either Driller but what this guy does in the offseason with his charity work and donations I guarantee is a hell of a lot more than you, me or anyone else does to help people. Rip him all you want but hes a good guy, not a lot of those in pro sports these days.

You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?

As much as I respect this guy, and think he is indeed a good soul amongst a bunch of a s s holes in the NFL...I don't think he is going to be anything more then a GMC Dealership owner... Maybe door to door bible sales?

ha ha. Lance Armstrong is a steroid-using cheat. The guy is a fraud.
Warner is the rare good human, though. I'll give you that.

Didn't see all of his homecoming dealie on tv last night but the guy that ignited his career was a high school coach named Art Haege that now ran a water conditioning and filtering one man operation out of a defunct Dairy Queen 2 miles from me.Haege was a high school football coach here that had experience in the CFL and WFL as an assistant. He was an ok guy that owned a little roadside tavern here where back in the day he sold to underage kids knowing about it.Usually kids that played for him.He also did goofball things in a funny way that were task master disciplinarian in style like making the kids practice on a field in town that was full of thistles, sticker weeds etc.The parents got him fired over all this stuff.
So what does he do,goes and works for the Iowa Barn Stormers Arena League team. He's the guy that got Warner to play with them.So what it amounts to is guys that I know who's parents got Haege fired are the reason Curt Warner is where he is today.
A negative these days for Warner getting alot of notoriety is that he's a big bible thumping Jesus Freak.Smoltz turned that way too and his wife left him.People must think I'm Forest Gump here but my Grandpa and Smoltz's grandpa left for Detroit to work in the car industry when the mines closed for awhile way back when and Smotz's grandpa stayed and mine came back in a year or two when the mines opened back up.

When you lead 2 laughingstock franchises to 3 Super Bowls, and lose one to Spygate and the other to horrible refs, of course he's a loser. Get with the program JJ.

Tough crowd. No way Warner is a loser in life. Warner has lived the life we can only dream about. This is along the lines of people saying Peyton Manning was a loser prior to a Super Bowl win. Even if these guys didn't win a ring, they are tremendously gifted and def not losers. It takes a great team to win the Super Bowl, not just a single player no matter how talented. Even Rex Grossman is a winner in the game of life.

He's also a 2 time MVP who should have won last year, whose numbers were better all the way around than Manning's which will be conveniently forgotten over time. Also throws for 300 yard games about half the time, nobody else ever comes close to that. For years bad actually means good, loser must have the same connotation.
