Points are worthless if they can't be redeemed, yet many contests are occurring here with them as if they have actual value. Even if the store resumes I suspect the points will be be greatly water downed. Just my 2 cents (or 2 points as it will likely be).

you may as well reup with 3K though. If you let it lapse and the store reopens you keep 3K. with at least 24K in the bank that would be a shame.

I really doubt you’ll have to worry about that, remember sbr is now owned by a legal onshore company, there is no way they will sell btc to be sent to illegal offshore books who are there competition

Anything is possible, but one of the mods here did say sbr was sold to a European company a few months back, I believe it was Optional who said that. I still don’t get what the big secret is, it’s been almost 6 months and they are still hiding the name of the new owner , if there is even a new owner. Who knows it was probably a company in Ukraine the way things are going here

No updates. But you can renew the Pro for free since the store is closed. This is what I did when my Pro expired.

since the store hasn't been around since my bitcoin purchase was cancelled back in october 2021, i would say that points are pretty much worthless and everything we have been told about that in the last 9 months has been a lie

it doesn't take 9 months to reopen at least ONE FUKKING THING to do with points

Ha. I'm skeptical on that. Unless I see a mod or someone from SBR state that, I'm not risking it. But, I guess, if points are worthless atm, then it wouldn't matter if i used them or not. [shrugging emoji]

That's true. I just renewed last week. Select 3k points . They do not take them.

Optimal wrote in one of these threads to do that about 3-4 weeks ago. It worked for me. Opti also said in that post that if they do take them, they will be refunded. But again, they did not take mine.

I don't think there is an option for it. Just renew when you expire and they will switch you back to Pro.
