Was nice growing up with a cop living just down the block, and always with a take home. Had its downsides for my lifestyle at times, but that was never an issue. Even though he didn’t like me, I knew if something went down that he would be on site in a matter of moments to have my back. Now, I’m stuck on a cul-de-sac, and would be pinned down if shit happens.

Same thing happened in Portland a few years back. Two on-duty cops in uniform came in and bought coffee. On their way out, a little girl sitting with her mother asked them a question. The two cops stopped and had a very pleasant convo with the little girl.

The owner of the snowflake tard coffee shop came over and asked them to leave because he was uncomfortable with them being there with their guns.

Funny, he wasn't uncomfortable enough to take their money two minutes earlier.

Why were six cops all taking a coffee break in the first place? Unless they were there on official police business, they need to get back to public servant work. The tax payers don't appreciate the vehicles, gas and salaries they pay for being used for cops running errands while they're on duty. If they want to drink coffee while on duty they need to bring a thermos like the rest of the employed working class citizens. No responsible and successful employer allows employees to just go run errands whenever they feel like it while they're clocked in.

The article clearly states that they were having a cup of coffee before their shift started.

Starbucks shutdown over Bias merely a little over a year ago , to train associates , 8000 stores , thats a big time hit . Sure that cost some money to them .
Surely they were smart enough to update the employee handbook.
Starbucks apologized to the Police Officers over this specific incident. So i assume they thought the employee fukked up , even setup a meeting with the officers and the local PO station .
Lastly , best way to talk to businesses is with money . Talk is cheap , if it hits their profit , shit starts changing .

All I'm saying is... it looks bad. Split up the break.... 2 at a certain period etc. No need for all 6 to go in at once. Yes, I'm sure this goes on in every city... but cover it up a tad better. Honestly... you might want to rethink that. Depending on the time of day etc... you may only have 6 squad cars on the road at once. Sure, there may be other cops working... but they aren't on the road.

I know and talk to the mayor of my city a lot. At one particular time of the day.... they are on a budget... and only require 4 squad cars. If they get called for a warrant... 2-3 respond to haul that guy in. Remaining only 1.... until their done with that call.
