he's not a unit guy. i used to not be either. i would bet $25 on a gm, then $60, then $40, then $50, basically, w-e I felt. Now, I consistently bet to win $50 a gm for 1 unit.

My dad is like me w/ smaller amounts, his bets are b/t $20 and $40, so smaller range. He is up about $160

The big bettors fall out of the 20th floor when they go down and it hurts more than falling out of the ground floor. You don't have to fall from the roof to know it hurts when you hit bottom.

Doesn't bother me what you bet. I kinda admire the restraint the small bettor has not to dominate their life but I also am envious of the BIG bettor when they are on a hot streak. The key is to keep it within your means and enjoy it. If you are the rare breed that actually makes a living doing this, congrats but the fact is the overwhelming majority lose over time.

Whether you bet big or bet small, as long as you are winning, it doesn't really matter. Unless you rely on gambling as your sole source of income, which seems pretty stupid, people shouldn't care if you bet 10k on a game or 10 bucks!
