If I buy the bracket? Whats a fair price someone would charge me? Best Buy said $350 and I thought that was ridiculous..

Not real hard. Do it yourself. BBY is 350 but includes the mount, conceal wires etc. Basically find studs, choose heights desired, screw mount into studs, hang the tv on the mount. EZ.

I dont even think I need to conceal the wires, I found a low profile mount for like $125... What do I need a a stud finder and just go into the studs right?

Yeah, why wouldn't you conceal? It looks terrible without it.

Because then you have to cut through the wall right?

Whats the best way of concealing?

Drill a hole behind the tv, get a snake, drill a hole at the floor, pull through. Just have bby do it. Professional, looks nice, hook everything up. Sit on your sofa and watch. Direct orders. Get an electrical outlet moved though behind the tv, don't want power chords in the wall.

                Will they move the outlet?

Thanks for the info by the way... I didnt want to spend the extra money on concealing the wires but now that you point it out it will look pretty stupid if theyre hanging...

I had my Daddy come over to do it for me. All he charged me was a blowjob.

I did it in like 90 minutes

I do not think a big deal to out power cord in wall Deuce. There are fukkin wires in every fukkin wall Deuce.

I did this myself recently without a stud finder. Use above the plug in outlet as a point of reference for the first stud, the next stud should commonly be about 16 inches away.

For all that work just pay the $350 and have it done professionally and not have to worry about it. It'll likely look better yet may feel less gratifying.

Well you don't want to be directly above the outlet, the outlet is basically a box thats nailed to one side of the stud. Directly above the outlet will not be a stud, It'll be a coupla inches to the left or right.

It like hanging a big picture...i would do this for 50 bucks easily, would take 15 minutes. find the studs, get a level and make sure its straight and hang it up..

Why don't you buy something like this instead and don't have to worry about destroying your house with holes in walls that may be structural?

It cost me $387.15 to be exact. Mine was kind of hard to put up, I think. I have no clue how to do stuff like that. I had to have the guy mess with it for a while. I have it right up above my fire place. It is not in a normal spot it would be for the set up of my place. They charge a lot of money to do stuff like that.

I just installed one in my den and it took me less than 30 minutes. The hardest part is finding the studs. Here's an easy way to find studs. The first one should be easy to find based on where the power outlet and coax cable are. Get a thin nail and try and find both studs your going to use to mount. Cut a small hole where you want to feed the cables, preferably to the coax box below. $350 is a lot for an install. You should be able to find someone to do it for <$100 if you already have the mount.

The studs are spaced at every 16 inches. So when you find the first one using a stud finder then go 16 inches either way to find the next one.

Its $150 if you have the people who sold you the TV do it. I do not know what a private contractor would charge. Maybe more.

Buy a wall mount on Monoprice for $40 and do it yourself.
