I’m just happy this team is finally playing like I thought they would.

It’s all coming together at the perfect time.

If they hold on and win the Central I’ll be happy. Anything else is icing on the cake. The pitching has been great for this team and the hitting is finally coming along but the Dodgers are clearly the team to beat.

I know you’re probably the only guy on the site that’s a bigger Cardinals fan than me. It’s cool to see them making a run.

Also, it’s weird listening to Edmonds announce and Ankiel do the post game. It makes me feel old especially since I was going to games back when Joe Torre was the coach.

It really comes down to whether they can clinch central before sunday? I think they fukked if flaherty has to pitch Sunday, if he can start game 1 and 5 of nlds good luck beating them. He been best pitcher in baseball since the asb. Brewers easy end of year schedule fukkin us tho, need rox to win a damn game!!

Just another in long line of pen guys they pay or trade for who never pan out. As good they are at drafting and developing pitchers they are quite horrible at picking them in free agency!

I’d like to hope they will only use him vs lefties in playoffs and are just seeing what he can give them at the moment?? For a long stretch this year they only used him as lefty specialist, a very expensive one!! He was good in that role so think they decided to try and use him more again for both sides but clearly not working. Hicks going out early really Hurt, if they had him closing and could use Carlos as more the 7th-8th they be in much better shape.
