Never will bet a Cards game again, in my life. No lie. They literally are impossible for me to win on, for or against. Dodgers were close to never again, but this year has changed that around.

I did it. Finally did it. Won a damn Cardinals game. I lied about never again after the signs pointed to the Padres. The first time the Cardinals fcked me long ago was a 1-0 loss to the lowly Dads. Cost me like 7K. This was looking like a 1-0 fck me again, but opposite side of it. Thank you to Junior Tatis, Hosmer, and the manager for getting Stammen out of the game for the 4 out save. My luck really is turning around it seems. Time to start a run.

Not likely, last night Ozuna fat ass got picked off 1st base and hurt his finger in the process, just got put on IL, he only guy in the lineup producing!!!
We have traded away 3 guys the last year who would all be the best hitters on this team (Pham, Voit, and Carson Kelly), in return we got a bag of balls (for Pham), a relief pitcher albeit a good one (for Voit), and a perennial all-star/mvp candidate who is now putting up replacement level numbers (goldshit). Shit is awesome!! Lol
Big fan of the kid pitching tonight, don’t be deceived by his not all that impressive peripherals, Dakota Hudson is very good. In that park I suspect he continues cards strong pitching and holds pads to just a few runs. Don’t see much of any chance we score off Paddack so I’m all over the under 8! Gl everyone

Good Info.
I’ll be at the game getting my free jersey of Hoffman blue or a white jersey of Gwynn.
I’m leaning Hoffman like the blue better.
Also a Light or laser show after game.
Got Padres to win series -130 so need 1 more win.

You should be good there, only way cards win both these games is if pitchers throw b2b shutouts! Lol.
I do expect them to be somewhat similar to last night as in tight lower scoring so certainly possible cards manage to take 1 of them but -130 against them winning both a great bet!! They did have several good chances last night but they flat out incapable of situational hitting, bases juiced no outs last night and couldn’t plate 1 stinking run, shit is pathetic!!

Always like reading your take on your Cards. You for years have been spot on.
The overturned and number of reviews of outs called or missed called last night was crazy.
If it happens again tonight watch for a fan to through a cheep pair of glasses out on the field.

Appreciate it bud, unfortunately hasn’t been the case this year, cards been a royal pain in the ass to get a good read on. So many guys underperforming but they started so well the first month (the offense, pitching was actually crap early, those things have obviously reversed) made you think at some point the bats would come back to life. Took me awhile to come to grips with that not happening. Lately since I’ve convinced myself the offense simply is this bad I been starting to cash some under tickets! I did fukk up last night and bet them, expected wacha and pen to be good and price got so high thought was worth a shot thinking 2-3 runs might win it, turns out that was too much to ask! Lol
That 1st base ump was fukkin attrocius! There was maybe 1 I’d give him a pass on, the others were freaking blatantly wrong live. Replay just showed how blind the Mfer was!!
Matter a fact that whole crew garbage! Who was behind home plate last night? His k-zone was one of worst I’ve seen this year!! He was calling strikes on shit 2-3 inches high and in but had no clue where the bottom of the strike zone was. Don’t think he was biased, think he sucked equally for both pitchers and hitters. Then late in game he started calling strikes on shit 2 inches outside!! Mlb outta fire this crew!!!

WTF happened in that inning when they had the bases loaded? Was following on SBR odds. They showed like four straight grounders to the infield, then put the score at 2-0. Put my phone away pissed that they couldn’t field a grounder it seemed, then check back and all is well.

1st base ump strikes again, little grounder, called safe at 1st, then another guy got caught between bases so got in rundown, tried to let 2nd run score before he got tagged, they were all confused as to whether second run scored but it was all moot cause the dude was out at 1st, inning over. Lol. Total shit show!

Hosmer crushed that dinger he hit. Wacha was pretty good but think he prob hung 5-6 changeups throughouf the game, just fortunate only paid for a couple. Of course doesn’t really matter how ya pitch when team incapable of plating runs. I’d be shocked if there were 8+ runs put up tonight.

They’re only 1.5 games out now despite scoring the fewest runs in baseball during the last month...
Before yesterday they had also lost 6 of 7.
They’re actually moving up the standings. It would be the most Cardinal thing ever if they ended up making a late run to make the post-season. Lol.

I’m loving this team with goldy and ozuna both producing at level they capable of, Fowler back to being the guy we thought we were signing. Despite losing hicks we still have the best bullpen in the NL! Nobody is pitching better than Flaherty. The offense which was among the worst 3-4 in baseball at wroc+ from beginning of May thru the asb is now a formidable unit. I know the doyers damn sure don’t wanna see us in the playoffs!!!

Their starting pitching was a huge weakness coming into the year even if healthy. The pen fell way off as often happens a season after a team leans so heavily on it.
Break out the brooms for 2marro cause flaherty is pitching as well as anyone in baseball the last month plus, check out his August era, fukkin microscopic!! He has only allowed 1 run this month and that is nothing new for him in August if you look back to last season!!

I’m just happy this team is finally playing like I thought they would.
It’s all coming together at the perfect time.
If they hold on and win the Central I’ll be happy. Anything else is icing on the cake. The pitching has been great for this team and the hitting is finally coming along but the Dodgers are clearly the team to beat.
I know you’re probably the only guy on the site that’s a bigger Cardinals fan than me. It’s cool to see them making a run.
Also, it’s weird listening to Edmonds announce and Ankiel do the post game. It makes me feel old especially since I was going to games back when Joe Torre was the coach.

Lol. Edmonds kinda annoys me. Ankiel really annoys me cause he a douche.
Doyers never worry me, cards kinda own them in the postseason much like giants owned us for all those years., I been saying all year I think someone in nl knocks lad off this year, wasn’t sure it was gonna be us as I been pretty hard on cards this season w all the guys we had underachieving but I have mentioned if we got in lad damn sure didn’t wanna see us!!
The pen the one thing I been talking up all season, they been fantastic thru it all. I wasn’t real sure the offense was ever gonna come around but goldy finally got going when ozuna got hurt, took ozuna a minute after coming back but now they both producing at a high level which gives us as good a 3-4 as anyone! Wong been great, Fowler the guy we signed so we got 2 guys getting on base in front of them. Edman has thankfully made up for carpenter sucking ass. Lineup really coming together. I’ll take Flaherty vs anyone right now. I’m def digging the futures I made at asb, have cards and nats to win nl and ws. Took reds also but that was just about the price.

Been watching a lot of Cards games from out here in California because for a while they put quite a few bucks in my book account due to hitting the under most every game, and I have to say as a Dodgers guy--the Cards worry me. I really hope the Brewers or Cubs can still make a run for that division because neither of those teams concern me in the playoffs but St. Louis is another story. Yes, the offense was abysmal most of the season but it's picking up and they have learned how to produce without having to hit balls out of the park left and right. That, along with good pitching which the Cards have, is how the postseason is won. The Dodgers can mash, but in October those 400 foot bombs have a habit of turning into 300 foot flyouts. Maybe the Dodgers can play small ball, but simply haven't needed to the entire season, but... I have doubts. Even someone like JJ Gold can manage the Dodgers to a regular season title, but LA is at a definite disadvantage manager-wise in the post-season. All in all--I'm cheering for the Cubs or Brewers like a madman for the last month of the season, because the Cardinals have what it takes to beat the Dodgers and get to the World Series.
