NL is wide open imo. Lot will depend on what happens at deadline and what move works out!! I’m not ready to give up on my underachieving cardinals, for as poor they played in May and early June they still right in it, remember they own the dodgers so if they get in doyers would be in trouble!!

they strikeout a lot but they also get on base a lot & no one can go to war with the bats against em. case in point yesterday where they struck out 12 times but they hit 2 diff 2 run jacks and then that bullpen shut down Astros after Paxton went 5. that bullpen is filthy & they don't even got Betances back yet
Nats will def upgrade the bullpen. they spent a lot of dough in the offseason & I'd be shocked if they didn't continue that trend at the deadline to upgrade their relievers. but they probably got the best starting pitching in NL behind Dodgers. Don’t matter if your starters good when your pen is dog shit. Guys gonna work counts vs them and get them out the game by 7th. I wouldn’t count too much on nats front office, they have had a dumpster fire pen lot of years. 5th guy irrelevant, nobody uses 5 man rotation in playoffs.
Twinks lineup can hang w Yankees but I don’t trust their starters either and they have a weaker pen. Whatever happened vs Houston yesterday makes no point, playoff baseball different and stros aces have handled those bats before. Their pen is strong but won’t matter if they trailing.
