#6I've heard the word "Trap" used since I 1st got into betting (early 70s). The bookie knows all so he lays a trap with a too good to be true line thus trapping the bettor on the wrong 'right side'.Comment -

#11With offshore betting being the number one choice, its hard for 1 bookie to have an opinionated line without getting nailed. I say most lines are near true value.
No such things as "traps", its probably just public perception.
Like the Mets game today, they are +120... Seems "too good to be true" but I think it is right on the money.Comment -
