I hate to say it but i dont see the big deal with NE this year. People are talking superbowls and this and that. I really don't see it happening. I can't handle this constant talk about them. How do you guys feel ?

Defense is too weak, esp. in the secondary. They will play many shootout style games.

I agree. The offense is very good, I mean with Brady throwing to Moss and Welker and the type of schemes of they run, its almost too easy. But the D is getting old and the linebackers might be a bit too slow, the secondary is questionable too, but they will definately win their division.

absolutely a playoff team, i wouldn't say "goin nowhere" by any stretch of imagination. they're going to be a dangerous team, they should make a pretty deep run, but i wouldn't consider them a super bowl lock

how bout the chargers? People seem to think they're gonna go right back to sb contender this year. Last year was really, a terrible reg. season until they caught fire there, but I'm not buying into them this year.

Pats should win their division, easy. Who else is there? Jets? Please, they were riding Favre's jock until the strap broke and they showed what they really are, with no HOF at QB this year the Jets will be a joke. Dolphins? They come crashing to earth in 2009, last year was a miracle and pleased me but disappointment returns to Miami. Buffalo? The poster children of choke, they have no identity anymore, but T.O. gives it to them now, gasp! So, the Pats win the division by default, the only question is about the first round bye.

In the playoffs, the Pats should be challenged, though. Nobody will be running through teams like SD or Pitts, who are battle tested and don't fear the Pats at all whatsoever. Then we've got the powder keg of the AFC South, whoever gets through that division will be tough as nails. I see both wildcard teams coming out of the AFC South, with Indy missing the cut! Put that in your pipe and smoke it. If the Pats get the bye and home field, it's uphill for the rest of the AFC, though.

Then again, maybe Brady goes down in week 1 again. That's the beauty of the NFL!

if they go worse than 13-3 without any major injuries i will never post here again. There defense was descent last year itll be 10x better, their offense will be better than it was in 07, galloway and taylor both might be old but are MAJOR upgrades over maroney and gafney or whoever their 2nd reciever was. Im not a pats for the record and honestly i despise them but i live in CT and i watched nearly every game they played since their always televised and their the real deal. Good luck fading them
