    betonline.com has....
bets open on an event that has already happened...???

What is the usual protocol on this situation?

If I bet on a finished fight would I still get paid?

All bets cancelled and your account closed (balance refunded if you are lucky).

In my younger days I bet something similar, I was paid out on it, the bookie shortly after picked up on it and advised that the bet was to be voided and my balance reduced (worth $6k) but as it turned out my balance was never reduced. I waited about 2 months had a few small bets to keep the account ticking over and then proceeded to withdrew the lot no problems at all. I thereafter closed my account so they couldn't claw it back at a later date. Not proud of what I did but hey I've been scammed by plenty of books in reverse and the book in question was renowned for stiffing clients. If the opportunity arose now I don't think I'd bother as its not worth the drama and 9.9/10 times you'll get caught out anyway.

dont take any shots at your bookie,
If you're betting into a bad line or an event that has already begun you won't get paid anyway , so
it makes absolutely no sense to try to cheat on your book,
you dont want your book to cheat on you , do you?
