#74Damn just about went down.
He HAD to hit that daily double for like 8k ish.
Then on the final the other dude only wagered 10k but was right, and his look on his face was painful thinking about the answer. If he wagers less or dude wagers more, it's over.
Slow on the buzzer tonight. Looked a little hungover.

#76yeah that was pretty fun to watch. James went all-in on the first daily double, he misses that one then he loses last night for sure but the guy is a machine.

Then he didn't bet enough in final jeopordy or he could of won there as well.
It could of been a legit loss but the guy Nate messed up or just got nervous in the moment, no one can be sure.
The lawyer from Seattle is on reddit talking about it, they sat next to each other in the audience.
I guess Nate is all salty and stand off ish, while James is James being friendy with everyone.
Not his fault. The dude didn't Wager right, plain and simple. James was beat last night.Comment -

At the time James had about 6k, and he could have increased his lead to 20k on James, who of course got hot the second half of double jeopardy.
Still, the other dude would have lead James by a little more than a grand if he would have gone all in on the second daily double he found.
Can’t be the least bit timid and expect to beat that guy.Comment -

#91Originally posted by brooks85crazy, you'd think if you were going up against james you'd know by now you have to play like him to beat him.
Guy in second had two chances to beat james. First the daily double and he only bet half of his 13ish K and then final jeopardy and only risks 10k full well knowing james is going to bet big. No reason to play for second.Comment -

#92Originally posted by d2betsNonsense. His FJ bet didn't matter, unless he bet too much (more than $16,000), which he didn't. He knows James is going to bet at least enough to win if he answers correctly, meaning at least 20,401. Yes, guy could have bet up to 16,000 instead of 10,000, but it didn't matter either way. All that mattered was whether James got FJ correct.

James 30,200
Guy 25,300
James doesn't know what guy is going to bet, so obviously he is going to bet at least enough to win if he gets it right ($20,401). If James gets it right, Guy is not winning, whether or not he gets it right. Therefore, the only FJ betting mistake guy could have made would have been to bet too much, which he didn't do. Even if Guy bets in all in FJ and answers correctly, he's sill going to lose if James answers correctly.
A bigger bet in FJ would not have helped Guy. The only bad bet there would have been to bet more than 17,400.
Guy did not lose any chance to win in FJ. You're wrong. But keep talking.Comment -

Read what I posted. I am right lol math proves it.
The guy didn't lose in FJ, he lost on his fukn daily double by only risking half of it. Plain and simple.
