the damage of getting caught faking this would outweigh any benefit. It could be fake but just would stupid thing to do. There would be too many people involved and stakes way too high for such a small payoff. Jeopardy will run for another 100 years, at least, so would be very near-sided to ruin all that with one stunt.
however, his buzzer game is the biggest oddity. The guy has a steal trap for a brain but his reaction time on the buzzer is why he doesn't lose.
He also gave away his two biggest secrets.
1. Study kid's books.
2. stop slamming the buzzer like a maniac and actually wait until you see the light go on. People slamming end up getting locked out because they are pressing too early so system penalizes them 1/4 of a second.
and you can tell he knows his shit about gambling. If it was fake you can bet no one would be intelligent enough to feed him that stat about 54% winners. 99% of people on sbr don't even know that.Comment -

that's not it tho. It's the way he plays and dominates. His buzzer speed doesn't even give other contestants a chance to show they know the answers too. If anything is fishy it is that. But, a common practice on jeopardy was to just slam the buzzer repeatedly so people will likely stop doing that.Comment -

yeah it is odd how he seems to know everything. I've seen him not know some answer but that is rare.
He says he studies kid's books because they are more concise with facts and have more pictures. It's terrible timing for everyone else because the guy gets a 2 week break until his next show so you can imagine he is going to be studying even more.Comment -
