I sit down and place my bet at the table.........back-to-back blackjacks!!!

Won three more hands before losing a hand and then got up and went to the cashiers cage.

I then proceeded to leave the building.

Nice job, Fish! I have done my share of counting as well and it's always a lot more work than this session you had. But timing is everything and if you catch that one monster shoe and split, then that's great!

It was a $25-$5000 table..........my wagers were $250-$300 per hand............made a modest but bills paying $1370.

However, on paper, made only about $8.40, which is precisely why blackjack doesn't recieve a large portion of my gambling time. That, and the fact that the game really doesn't interest me near as much as many other gaming activities.

I didn't know you could enter mid shoe on any high limit table.

It seems different in each casino. I know in CT, they don't have mid-shoe at any table $50 minimum and up. Yet out in Vegas at the Venetian, I don't think I've seen a sign there preventing mid-shoe entry even at $200 tables.
