I only really watch hockey during the playoffs but even to me it didn't look like it warranted this type of power play. I didn't even know these types of power plays existed until I saw that. I can see if the guy targeted and outright punched him but too many parts of that play looked like people were in the wrong place at the wrong time. To be honest, I don't know if I agree with a 5 minute power play for anything.

Agree but if refs are going to start taking over the games like tonight this league is dead too.

Complete overreach by refs. Guy was falling from crosscheck, stansky just happened to be there and caused guy to go sideways and he couldn't brace himself.

Vgk completely fukked over and now like the nfl the rest of our playoffs are going to be comprised of a team the refs handed a win from an other wise sure loss

That’s a shame if accurate. That another thing I like about hockey I rarely feel like refs have a big influence on outcome. Unfortunately I was busy tonight so didn’t get to watch the game.
