It's been awhile since I saw that movie. As I recall the White Stripes were in it too. I don't recall them as being anything more than competent. Jack White was also in Cold Mountain. Again, as I'm remembering it, competent.
Tom Waits is good though. He has had a few significant roles in his time. He was in Short Cuts and Down by Law.
David Bowie is a decent actor.
On the other hand, rockers can sometimes cross that line to so-bad-it's-funny. There was some of that in Tommy. I remember Bon Jovi being in something that had me chuckling. And then there was Elvis Presley . . .Comment
