Now that is a post I can cheer. Good for you, bpaid. I have taken my two kids (one son, one daughter, 12 and 10) to several games in the past few years. My son really got into the games, since he's played Little League for a couple years. My daughter enjoyed the food, roaming around the stadium and just goofing off with other kids. Enjoy these precious days with your daughter and take some photos or video so you can relive them in years to come.

sounds like a blast abba. i am so glad that we have the memphis redbirds where i live. the aaa stadium is still probably top 3 in the minors and they got plenty of stuff for the kids to do. tix are about 5-7bucks and the game usually holds my neice/nephews 9yr old attention spans for about 4 or 5 innings....well, they watch 2, then its off to the slides and bouncy cage and all the other games. then we watch a few more innings. it works. have fun

raydog, I live in Memphis and that is where I take my kids for games. Maybe we can hook up sometime with our families, since your nieces and nephews are about the same age as my little brats. PM me if you wanna get together some humid August evening at the park.

Have fun at the game with your daugther! I remember taking my oldest son to his 1st game when he was about 1 1/2 years old, did a road trip to Milwaukee and watched a game in the old County Stadium. Also remember taking him to a Twins game when he was 4. Sat down, had a hot dog and soda and after the 1st inning he wanted to go home. Fun memories!

Edgar Gonzales shunned me for an autograph when i was a foot away and he was signing them for like ten other people, later in th game he got hit in the head my a ptch and had to get wheeled off, karmas a bitch, and i have video of the fukk gettin wheeled off its classic, karmas a bitch... besides that game went wonderfull and I had the best time i have had in a very, very long time. I should bet sd though but whatever I had all kinds of sober fun and cant wait to do it again..

The next time you're near him for an autograph and he actually comes to sign it, simply pull your book away and say "sorry, I thought you were someone else - you know, someone who'll sell well on eBay." They really don't like it when you do that.
