I know up here there only about 2-3 of the 100s of them that give 2 shits about actually running a backround check. Tons of small businesses in that kind of work don’t care. Same w concrete, fencing, asphalt, etc.

Yeah down here it seems like all you have to do is buy some equipment and a truck and you have your own business. I’m sure I can find a landscaping place that needs help. Gotta mow year round here. Lots of guys just go around knocking on doors asking if you need help. Like trimming trees, power washing, and shit like that.

Skipped court cause I wasn’t done yet, and told myself I’d finish that week and just go back with it done. It turned into me just pushing it off and saying fck it. Was too caught up in my addiction to give a shit and didn’t think I’d even be alive still. Now that I’m getting shit in order, I realize I can’t just run from my past.

Yeah sounds like that place would have just been me being a cashier basically. I feel like the places with all the benefits will definitely background check me. Plus look at my resume and say no. Can’t hurt to try, I guess. I’ll find something.

Which I want to do cause the warrant is so pointless to have. If I can just explain my situation I think he would understand, but I know he takes it personal when people don’t show up. I’d fck that up somehow and just get in more trouble. I was just helping at a rescue mission shop. Sort clothes and shit like that. It wasn’t bad, just hard to do when you’re sick. Judge gave me so much time to do it too. Not sure how I fcked that up.
