Sicky I would hand in my paycheck in a second to have more posters appreciate the filthy Canadian likes of you.

I meant that in a good way.

O crap I hope I don't lose my gig over that.

Pavy I prod you because I want you there more than anyone else. Yes, I'm an internet tough guy, but when/if I meet you, I'm gonna give you a noogie and a man-hug with a smidgen of leg humping.

      I can't friggin wait.

Bread, it's not about being appreciated, it's about being understood.

I consulted with Bill Dozer, who said my comments were out of line....that your job description mentions nothing about making sure others "get it". Therefore, I've taken it upon myself, via the signature, to let others know they're dealing with an enigma.

If I said something offensive, I'm sorry. I really meant no offense. Me saying I didn't expect you there was just my gut feeling based on my forum observations. I would be happy to be wrong.

Here's what I want: Pavyracer, Curious and BatemanPatrick to make an entrance in a chariot pulled by Emily Haines.

Oh the uber-awesome song I could write about that.

No offense. It's just you are like the 15th poster doubting my presence at the Bash and I thought it would be a good idea to add to my $50 payday. But I am also buffled why the ones not going to the Bash are worried if someone else is going to attend or not.

Where did I ever question whether or not you're going to show?

The bet I'm on is number of cancellations.

                  Touch sensitive today?

I didn't know people were making a big deal and actually worrying about it. I have only seen a few idle comments here and there.

Anyway there's nothing buffling about it. It's just forum sport man.

I will continue the good fight for my Canadian brethren here. Payroll be damned.

And yes,it is a bit of a hustle, and at times even buffling, but this is how I am. I'm genuine.

                        Gracias

You know us Canucks are all pacifists. Plommer is good at cleaning & dressing wounds. If you ever get nicked fighting the good fight, give him a shout.

Note to Pavy: Quit speaking like a Frenchman. This "u" instead of "a" was brought to your attention months ago. You promptly edited the posts to make the corrections.

Canucks have struck me in general as being something of a cross between Americans and Australians. Certainly don't mean that as an insult to Canadians, I am an American and would be just as happy as an Australian or Canadian I do believe. Not a Northern Canadian mind you, or an Alaskan, too fcuking cold in those parts.

Maybe a future bash. Vegas isn't my scene. I have a Hooked on Phonics tucked away in the closet. You're welcome to it.

I never knew any Aussies before hanging around forums some 10+ yrs ago. There were at least a dozen regulars on one of the forums I spent a lot of time at. With a couple exceptions, I found them to be crass.....though I might be putting too much stock in one person, a certain union head. The guy could twist around anyone's words to make it what he wanted it to be. It was brilliant. I've never seen anything like it. He taught me to respect the written word.

Northern Canada eh. So Eskimo ice fishing ain't your cup of tea.

And Willie, you don't have to worry about being pushed too far up north.

These guys have territorial rights.......until global warming takes its toll.

I'm interested to know how the batteries work in -40 degree weather and how the beer bottles don't freeze and break.

No Willie, the brand of beer the bears are enjoying.

Well, up there living in a freezer they don't have to settle for the former. Beer is always on ice.

I can see sickler between 21-23 August sitting on his computer drinking beer and hitting F5 trying to get updates for the bash. Dude is more interested in details about the bash than the actual people going there.

This thread has been high-jacked and taken totally off topic.

No bash on the mind here.

Hate to bring the thread back on topic but the cirque shows have a pretty good promotion that if you buy one ticket you can the second for $25... I think it pretty much covers all the shows (including the new Chris Angel one) but you should be able to find it pretty easily but searching google for the promotion... Anyhow I thought I would try and save you a little money...
