That's what Favre family sources have told me.

In the next few days you will hear him annouce his retirement, but he will not mention anything about coming back at a later date.

He is a sick man, it is all about him.

He is a washed up drunk and all he wants is people talking about him.

He could not even play at USC

Favre just cant accept the fact that he only won 1 superbowl in a career that lasted forever and he played on some dynamic teams in green bay. The bottom line is that Reggie White brought that game home to Gbay. Favre lost to Elway in the showdown game and as far as im concerned thats what defines Favre's career and being the interception leader

I said I would prob take Favre over Marino but that Marino is the best pure passer while Favre was the better leader/risk taker.

              Get your facts straight...

Actually he is right. MArino was a piece of shit. I hated Marino more than any athlete I have EVER seen. They were both cokksukkers. At least Favre got a ring. Marino was too busy trying on wintergloves and trying to run the show. I will never forget when JAcksonville spanked MArino and his boys 62-7 in faggot Dan's last game. I hate Miami more than any team and im a Bears fan. Favre spanked the Bears his whole career so I respect him a little bit.

Come on kinger YOU asked me to sort it out. Don't tell me you think Marino was better than Favre. That shows you didnt watch both their careers cause I did and Marino wasnt anywhere near Favre.

                          Arm Strength- even
                          Mobility- Favre
                          Coachibility-Favre
                          Rings- Favre
                          MVPS- Favre

Ask any great coach who he would rather have had in his prime and most would say Favre hands down.

Now granted Favre is pulling his best Johnny Unitas the last 2 years but he will leave soon.

                            Favre better QB Marino

Do any of you know how many yds Marino rushed for in his career????

If not, go look, you will be astounded.

Favre not only could scramble, he was 2x the leader that Marino was.

Marino, in all honesty, would have a hard time cracking my top ten of all-time QB's.

A great way to know if someone at a bar is a knowledgable NFL fan is to ask him who was the better QB.........Favre or Marino.

If they say Marino, ignore them and move to another part of the bar.

I don't blame him or guys like Favre for staying around too long. They earned it. Let them play until THEY decide to hang em up. Maybe they wanna leave when they all beaten down so they truly know their time is done...

He actually knew a family member which could be unfair advantage.
i called it on another site back on february 11th of this year that he was DONE

the day he "retired" last yr i immediately told my buddies that it was a knee-jerk reaction to the packers losing out on randy moss who had just re-signed with the pats. 2 days prior to that favre was saying how much he wanted to play with moss and was lobbying for the pack to sign him. then moss re-signs with the pats and boom! favre retires. it was obvious knee-jerk and most of us with a brain knew he was coming back.

                                                now, it's different.

favre had the best opportunity of his late-career to get to the playoffs and win a super bowl because 1) tom brady, the leader of the sb favorites the pats, was lost for the yr clearing the way for favre and the jets, and 2) favre led them to 8-3 the first 11 games and they looked like a shoe-in for the playoffs if not home field adv throughout.

if he couldn't even lead the team to the playoffs with last yr's total luck of having brady get hurt and starting out 8-3, then it's just not meant to be for him and he knows it. the torn biceps injury requiring surgery and rehab did not help matters.

i will be very surprised if favre ever plays another NFL game again, and believe me i was not surprised even 1% that he came back last yr and in fact predicted it to friends right when he "retired" last yr

Big cred to you Fish if it goes that way. I remember you posting this prediction/lead about a month ago. You were at the time and still are the only person in the world I've heard predicting this outcome. For some reason, my gut tells me you might have a solid source here.

His wife would be the only one that would have more credibility than this family member.
