    Any of you guys exercise on a regular basis?


    I need to start exercising. I'm not fat but I'm definitely not healthy, either.

    Do you guys go to a gym or have equipment at home? I think I should join a gym.

    JJ - Do you jog through Newark?

            i workout every second day. take it very seriously. squats deadlifts and bench is where it's at. imo, you aren't exercising properly unless you do the big 3.

              I used to be very fit. Haven't been for years. Not all that fat (favourable metabolism)......but definitely have a paunch that could could lose a few inches.

              At home:

              free weights
              heavy bag
              recumbent stationary bike

              All collecting dust.

              Trek mountain bike (was a semi-serious cyclist). Still have the quads, with fat on them my thighs are kinda big. Starting to get the bike out more, hopefully before winter I'll have puts lots of miles on it. Sweat and endorphins required. I feel like shit. Flabby and moody.

                    yeah i do, us en-gin-neers gotta stay in shape. i go for like 1.5 hrs a day do liek 3-4 miles cardio and lift. im kinda shcoked i actually gave in after so much tlaking bout going but i kinda actually liek going, you feel good when you leave

                      Clorine and chemicals will kill ya.....screw the pool, highly overrated for health benefits...........unless you have an ionizer to filter the water and use 1/10th the chemicals.


                      Be leary of getting sunburn also, skin cancer.

                              Yeah back when I used to exercise more - it would always feel good after you got in some good exercising. It's definitely a lot better than being a couch potato.

                                would love to live by the ocean and do some running on the beach followed by a swim in the ocean to start the day. That's the goal for me

                                  i play basketball 4x a week and go to the gym 3-4x a week. Im rail thin kinda sucks but i have to be doing something at all times

                                      I run about 5 times a week... 3.5 - 6 miles a go. A weird thing about running - it works your arms out also. I can do a lot more pull-ups if I run regularly than if I don't - the change is more than the weight should affect.

                                            I work out on my lunch break at work (I eat as I go during the day). I run 2.5 miles 3 or 4 times a week. This goes a long way towards keeping me lean. But, at the end of the day, it's all about what you eat. You can work out till you're blue in the face but if you are eating like shit, it won't matter.

                                            Lots of small meals + working out = teh sex

                                                this is a great site to pick a workout for you. i started this one a few months ago and i love it! stick to it hip up a few roids and u will be getting paid the big bucks in the big leagues haha jk try it out tho

                                                    One thing though for all you guys - I'm not exactly looking to lose weight - although losing a few pounds would be good, too. I just don't want to go up a flight out stairs and have to catch my breath, Nicky-style, 'cause I'm out of shape. I want to be better fit overall. I need to start eating healthier, too.

                                                            Gym for cardio (elliptical 1.5 mile under 9.5 minutes) 3 x week. Basketball practice 3 x 30 minutes wk.

                                                            KR's GF, 3 x 30 minutes / wk. Robyn's pic 3 x 2.5 min.

                                                                  you would be amazed how much of a workout you can get just with push ups, 3 sets of straight push ups, 15 reps, then put your feet on a chair to make it more difficult, you will feel it everywhere ,chest shoulders triceps, biceps, even lats, then combine that with a walk and your good , no gym memberships of equipment needed,, of course 2 big macs will cancel all your effort , so watch what you eat
