Emmy Nominations Announced

who you guys like? I'm a huge Breaking Bad fan so I'm glad they got noms for best drama, actor, and supporting actor, though i was hoping Anna Gunn would get a supporting nod too. Can't believe Big Love women got shutout completely, and the show only got a best drama nod. Loved Generation Kill, glad to see them getting high praise in the uncontested miniseries categories. I watch The Office and thats about it for networks, so I don't know anything about How I Met Your Mother or 30 Rock, I know, I know.

- Mad Men is indeed a hell of a show

- I can't believe American Dad is nominated for Best Animated but not Family Guy. Cheap knock-off. I can't even be bothered watching it.

- but then I see Family Guy is nominated for Best Comedy series but not American Dad.

- holy shyt there are a lot of awards. I didn't realize there was so much crap. They have gone way overboard. I mean wtf? They've got:

Outstanding Hairstyling For A Miniseries Or A Movie
Outstanding Hairstyling For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special
Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series

Are you kidding me? Get a grip.

- I like Gabriel Byrne for Best Actor for In Treatment. Probably too subtle for this kind of thing though.

The fact that Family Guy got a nomination for best comedy series while the Simpsons never received such a nomination is a joke. After seeing that it confirmed for me how pointless the Emmys are.

I don't really care that much, but I hope Entourage gets some more recognition, though I have a feeling they wanna end it still on top so I kinda want it to do bad so the cast renews I think after next season? Also I hope Always Sunny gets a little recognition-though as I said I'm not that into tv and movie awards, did ASIP even get a nom?
