Wayne Lemons, the DE state lottery director--told the USA Today yesterday that the state would be offering single game wagering options for NFL games this fall.

That answers the question about whether they would be "parlay-only".

The NFL had no comment, but they know they have no shot at beating DE's Governor and Lottery in the DE state supreme court.

Corzine in Jersey is polling badly--but he continues to yap about Jersey offering sports wagering soon.

Its funny how these politicians lose their moral outrage over gambling the moment the economy goes in the crapper and they need revenue. Suddenly gambling is an option. Nothing like standing on principle.

The same is going to happen with the UIGEA---it will die shortly.

i don't know if they will strike down the law , maybe just the enforcement won't be as strict, i wish the government here in ontario would come to there senses and allow single game also instead of these parlay cards

The real question is what will the juice be if they offer single game wagering? If they are not competitive with Vegas or offshore it will be a bust.

It won't be a bust. There will still be people who don't know better or are casual gamblers to keep it worth it.


I still don't get why people in here want this to happen so badly. Do you really want the offshores to get hurt? I like the way things are now. LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!
