You're a smart man, Kinger... I'm loving the Braves tomorrow too... The under should also be a good play in that game

Other games I like for tomorrow are:

Cubs ML or RL vs the Nats

          Col/SD Over 7

          LAA/Oak Over 8.5

I'm done with Nat Games. Any time you think they'll lose they end up winning. I f'ing hate that team!

Nice! This thread going to be here for the second half of the season? I was about to go to bed, but I'll be glad to list my plays tomorrow. You can already see one in my status using the 2.0 version of the forum, which would be the Marlins ML.

Yeah, Razz. We will do the Interactive Thread for the 2nd half...

And the Marlins, huh? Hmm... I'll take a closer look at that game...

Hard to go against Philly but the Marlins crush lefties... Plus, Volstad was AWESOME last time out.

                  I'll play that too...

Consensus loves Phi 86 to 14 so we are going big time against the grain, but that's why they call it gambling!

Nice TIK, I'll be a bit more active here in the second half.

The Marlins are certainly worth a play here I think. Their manager and several players got no rest at all due to all star festivities and their should be a let down effect for them. I love going against the public, Vegas doesn't give away free money to the average bettors afterall. I think we may get a better line tomorrow afternoon though, I'll wait to book it until then. Night guys. I'll be around tomorrow morning.

OK guys, I promised I would post here before the games so here are my leans. Haven't made anything official other than the Marlins, looking for some feedback from the crew.

Mets/Braves: The Braves hit lefties fairly well (17-13) and Perez has shown he can be hit with a ERA over 8. Neither of these teams have been performing at a high level, but at the moment I'd rather side with the braves. The moneyline is too high, and a home run line with Atlanta seems very risky to me, considering they have 13 more unders this year than overs. Run production could very well be a problem, even against Perez. Still, I'd rather take ATL RL than anything, simply due to how terrible the Mets are.

Cubs/Nats: Harden has been lit up his last two starts and has not impressed. In fact Lannan has a better record and better ERA. Even worse for the Cubs is the Fact that the Nats are a better offensive team, scoring more runs, getting more hits and drawing more walks than Chicago. I'll take the home dog here.

Mariners/Indians: I'm surprised to see Cleveland favored by so much against anyone. Lee has dropped his last three starts, so this line does not look warranted to me. With Seattle being a mediocre road team and the Indians being as bad as they are, I'll pass on this game entirely.

Brewers/Reds: There are some big holes in the Reds lineup, missing a few key pitchers and now Jay Bruce I think they will begin to see a definite slide in the second half. I like the Brewers as a dog here, and might even take the RRL in this spot as a can see this game becoming a high scoring affair.

Phils/Marlins: Not going too deep into this one. The Marlins hit lefties very well, and Moyer is certainly what I consider a prime left hander to hit. Many of the Phils including the Manager were present at the all star game and are likely a bit behind on rest and preparation. Public on the road team and the line isn't moving much, I'll play Florida.

Rockies/Padres: Going with the Rockies on the RL here, for no other reason than that Colorado is playing well, Cook has had a good year, and the Padres are slowing down even more recently. Neither pitcher has played a 1 run game in either of their last three starts win or lose, I'll look for it to continue.

Angels/A's: Passing on this one. Angels are the better team with a good record against lefties, but Santana hasn't looked very good while Braden has. Going to leave it alone.

Astros/Dogers: Line has moved in favor of the Dodgers and the total has jumped upwards as well. I'm not convinced with Wolf, while I do trust Wandy. The 'stros hitting has even picked up recently, so if I can get them at +140 I'll take 'em.

I agree on you with the ATL RL mets are playing horrible as of late. On the cubs/nats game I am not touching that the nats got a new manager but are horrible I will stay away this series to see if the nats change at all. Look when Col got a new manager they went on a tear.
Love the RRL on the brewers the reds have some huge holes. The marlins should take care of Moyer tonight as well. The rockies rl is also a solid bet. The public is HEAVY on col. As bad as the pads have been playing who can blame them.
Angels/As are a pass for me as well.

I have the Dodgers in the late game. In fact its the only game I am betting. I want to ease out of the all-star break and see what will transpire. Wandy is good but so are the dodgers especially at home. They seem to get it done with timely hitting and small ball.

That's my opinion Razz. Let's get some more. BOL with your plays.

Thanks DJ, sounds like we agree on most of the plays. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Dodgers take this game today, I'm just not sure enough respect is being given to the 'stros on the money line by the books and most bettors.

As for the Nats, I hate betting on this team. Clearly its not +ev. This is just one of those spots where the numbers point to them having a decent shot here. The RRL on the Brewers is one of my favorites as well, seems like a ton of value in a +160 line. Good luck with the Dodgers tonight, and any other plays you may decide to add!

Well, not bad. The Marlins and Nats really dissapointed me today, but that's standard for these teams.

Nice work TIK and Kinger, you guys are on a tear. Keep it going, hope to see you guys on here tonight breaking down some games.

Here is what I like for tomorrow:

SF RL +110--- Timmy to shut down Pit...

Atl ML -200--- Jurrjens and crew to shut down a crappy mets team

Stl RL -115--- Crappy price on the run line, but one that'll hit nonetheless

Tam-KC O 7 -125--- Shields vs Greinke, one them implodes and the game is like 6-3, easily over 7

Yeah, I'm still here. We might have a pitching change in Kansas. I'm jumping on Tampa here if Bannister goes instead of Grienke. The Rays at +$ against KC is a gift. Lets see if we can confirm this.

I'm seeing Bannister being shown as the starter for tomorrow now at several places. If you can grab the over 7 and TB as a dog I would pull the trigger now. The books will scratch this line tonight and come out with a much less friendly one in the morning.

As for the games you mentioned TIK, I'm hesitant with STL due to any possible let down after the all star game. Also not sure about laying -200 with the Braves. What do you think of under in that game?

Well, they just went under today, so I'm thinking runs come in bunches tomorrow... Gotta like the Braves to pound them tho... I understand if you're hesitant about -200 but it's safer than the RL.

I may end up taking the RL with that game, but don't wanna take back to back RL's and I'll be on the watch for the pitching change in KC and jump all over TB if it does change. Heck, I'd parlay Tampa and over anything up to 11 at that point...

TIK, the pitching change looks official. ESPN is showing it, as is http://www.sbrodds.com/. Some books are still offering o/u 7 and the Rays as +$. This shouldn't be the case, despite how decent Bannister has been. I don't think all the books have updated yet.

As for the Braves, I just can't see the Mets getting many runs off Jurrjens and Pelfrey has been pretty good for the Mets. Seems like the makings of a low scoring affair. Just saw the Toronto line also, Romero for -120? Boston is a great team, but they didn't look too hot on their last trip to the Rodger's center, plus their pitching a guy from the minors who hasn't thrown in the bigs since last august...

I'm thinking, that Romero is the next Santana and until he goes on a losing streak, I WILL NOT play against him. But I'm not sure I can play him against Boston either. Best to leave that alone...

I'm just gonna stick to the Braves, despite the chalk and leave the Over/Under alone. It could go either way and will either be a 3 to 1 game or a 12 to 7 game. Would take the RL but I can't do that on back to back games...

Bucholz for Boston is someone to watch out for but you're right, with him not pitching in the bigs for almost a year, maybe it's best to go with Romero. I'll think about taking that...
