Just imagine how many more magazines Cardplayer will sell if Shulman wins.

Every putz claims they're a professional poker player. I remember one so called professional that killed his parents so he can have the inheritance to pay off his poker debts a few months ago.

What happened to Ivey? Thought he was riding in 2nd place???
Either way, a double up or two and he is right back in it... I predict he gets 2nd place...

ESPN: Phil Ivey-Poker's most charismatic star and perhaps the greatest player in the world, Ivey survived a rough Day 8 to make November's Day 9. "You have no idea how bad I want this," said Ivey, who would rather skip the 12-week wait and finish the tournament immediately. "Today was a bad day, but I made it. I would say the wait is a drawback because I'm kind of in a groove playing with all of these guys. I'm going to forget some of the things I saw from them and will have to replay some of the hands in my mind. I would love to play through right now."
Asked how he'll treat the myriad media requests he'll no doubt receive, Ivey had a simple solution -"I'm going to change my cell phone number." The hunch here is that it won't be enough to sate the hungry mob of poker players who have come to worship the 7-time bracelet winner.

Ivey is the greatest poker player right now. But I will root for the Chip leader. He is a logger, blue-collar guy like myself. It would be the first blue collar to win it all. Let's go Moon!!!!

Ivey vs Moon for it all perhaps?
I think Ivey will make a run and just miss out on winning by losing a final, dramatic hand...

According to BetED:
Phil Ivey was listed @ +12000 before the start of the WSOP Main Event.....co-favored with him was Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hansen & Tom Dwan all listed at +12000. Still terrible odds due to the field size (6,494 players) as well as a recognized pro hasn't won it since Chris Ferguson in 2000.

LOL @ Tom Dwan. Great cash game player but he doesn't have the patience for tournaments. No way.

Him and Patrik Antonius are too busy making prop bets on who can play the most hands and who can knock out the most players.
I know one thing Durrrr is pulling like hell against Ivey at the final table, if Ivey wins he will be stuck for $1 Million.
