In an interesting twist of fate, SSLP, you made this your sixteenth question and I happened to be 16 when it happened. My birthday is also the 16th of August, although my "snack pack opening" wasn't a birthday present. I think it happened in November of 1997, but I could be off by a month of two.

You know, that was actually the first thing I thought when I read the question. I've never used that expression before, nor has anyone I know. This is going to be a huge hit with the boys the next time I make it to the city.
