Going to find me a full table of asians and slowly but methodically grind away at $100 per hand in an effort to build my comps up.

Actually a small lifetime winner at baccarat over the years using some of the principles employed by the great Lyle Stuart...............this without even taking the comp equation into consideration.

I will report my results from todays session later this evening.........hope my luck is good.

Probably will play only one or two shoes.

Thanks, as always with this game, luck is the overriding factor.........but it does take good money management though.

As stated, I use a couple theories and strategies that Lyle Stuart uses, and actually have been in the black ever since I first took up the game in the 80's...........again though, been way more lucky than good.

Lost 183 at Baccarat but was able to get away with only playing one hand of every 4-6 deals of the cards...........this can be considered an overlay longterm IF YOU TAKE COMPS INTO CONSIDERATION. I play the game a lot, but when I play, I stick to flat betting, discipline (no doubling up) and 100% banker bets (never the tie or the dragon or the yadda yadda)

I see all the Asians marking cards and guessing this way and that way, saying that Player is due or Banker is due. I think due is a fallacy and each hand is independent. I count at blackjack and would like to know how to apply counting to Bacc.

Ever play EZ Bacc? No commission which is nice but it's faster. In practice, I think the game is the same speed, at least I don't notice.

Yes, Banker is your best value bet, but only slightly over the Player.

With an edge of over 1% for the house, it is very tough to come out ahead in the longterm..............the only way to somewhat do this is to manipulate the comp system, which I will be attempting to achieve here.

I will keep a running record of my play at the HR in Tampa and post the results here. I keep detailed records, so this should be interesting. Off to a bad start after todays losing session........hopefully I can rebound.

Counting doesn't help in baccarat. Something that might help with the tie bet and the dragon bet is keeping track of the denominations and looking for a situation where several denominations are completely gone so that the deck has a high % of 0 valued cards.

The best situation is where there are a high % of 0, 8, and 9 valued cards. Then you are betting that the bank will get 0 and you will get 8 or 9 and hit that juicy 10-1 or 30-1 payoff.

I couldn't find anyone who ran the statistics on the EV with given denominations missing from the deck. Should be easy enough to do.

The same principle applies to the tie bet. If the deck is mostly the same cards then the probability of a tie increases. This only happens a few hands every few hundred shoes so when it does happen you have to put out a table max bet. I did find people who had done the research on the probabilities of the tie bet if the remaining cards are mostly 0 valued cards.

There have been teams that beat baccarat this way. The person marking the charts plays the hundreds of hands until the deck is favorable and then signals the big player who comes in betting table max on the tie bet.

I'm sure people are doing the same with the dragon bet.
