This is the first time that I ever cared to bother him. He just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm not worried about this fake I stay out of his threads for the most part. As far as it goes for me being broke, I am working on that I did not ask for advice. At least I am real and honest unlike some phuckers on here.

Thanks. As long as I have been on this forum and all the big shots I have taken on plays that everyone said couldn't hit, and I won, I don't understand why these idiots are talking so much smack.

I find it interesting that all these "experts" don't understand that what I did was use an Exacta to bet a horse to Win at much better odds. It was a field of 5, I took my pick over the rest of the field but in different amounts so the win would be the same no matter who came in 2nd.

This is equivalent to a bet to Win, but the payoff is much higher. You have to look for opportunities like this, you need a short field with one heavy favorite and all the other entrants are at fairly long odds. But none of this matters if you DON"T PICK THE WINNER.

So, really the bet was $3K to win. But it paid 3.3 to 1 instead of 4/5 because of the way I varied the exacta bets. Out of the $12K payoff I have to deduct the $1800 on the other exacta plays, for a net of $10,800. I like the odds of $3K to win $10K a lot better than $3K to win $2400.

I posted this pick before the race started. I'm pretty certain that these same "experts" who are denying the win would have insisted that I count the loss, had this play lost.

I also find it interesting that none of these "experts" can figure out that I probably didn't do this wager with an OTB, so it didn't matter to me what the pool size was. But, for those who care the pool on exactas in this race was $27,400. The $1200 wager was 5% of the pool. So, yes, placed at an OTB a 5% wager would move the odds, A LITTLE. But the idea that a 5% wager would move the odds so much as to make the bet a bad proposition just shows that maybe these "experts" don't know as much as they think they do.

I've made posts before saying that I was changing my life so that I would not have to make wagers on line any more because I don't want the drama of collecting. Anyone who knows anything about me knows why I don't want this drama. Not sure why it is so hard to understand that what happens or doesn't happen on line doesn't mean much to me.

Let's see. I run a live pick thread in the horse racing forum and post picks for people to follow if they want to. I take a bigger than usual shot at a horse I know is going to win, and it wins. I do this as an exacta over the field because the field is short and this will have a much bigger payoff than a wager to Win. Nothing else is going on except the all star game and I would rather watch paint dry than watch that nonsense, and I make a post saying this big play won, because I am human and it was a bit exciting. I'm sorry I just don't understand why this rubbed you the wrong way.

So, you are saying what?

2. You dont like for people to post their results on their picks?
3. You don't like people to say they made wagers above your normal wager size of $5?

Really? Interesting that you could make that calculation without knowing the pool size. The pool size was $27,400. $1200 is 5% of that. So, the payoff would have moved from 10-1 to .005 to 1 because of adding 5% to the pool? That is what you are saying?

You do know that there are establishments which do not send the wagers to the track so these wagers do not affect the pool or the exacta odds, do you not?
